DAEDONG HOTEL, Jeju – A Smart Stay in the City

The hotel is perfectly situated near Dongmun market, Blackpork street, and the Jejang underground mall, making it convenient for exploring the area. The location is ideal for easy access to transportation, markets, and the seaside, while the dining options, including fresh cheese bread, add a nice touch to the stay.

The hotel offers spacious rooms at a reasonable price, though the inner lighting could be improved as too much light from the street seeps in through the curtains. The location is perfect for exploring Jeju, but there is no lift available.

I had a cozy room with a shared balcony and all the amenities I needed at a reasonable price. The hotel is big and provides everything you could ask for, making it a great value for money. It was a pleasant stay overall.

However, the lighting inside the room was a bit dim, and the street light seeping in through the curtains could be bothersome at times. The location is ideal, near the airport, market, and restaurant areas, including the bustling black pork street and leisure spots like markets and shopping malls. The dining experience provided some nice treats, although a wider selection would have been appreciated. The facilities are well-maintained and offer a comfortable stay at a reasonable price.

The hotel's rooms, although spacious with heated floors, were inconveniently located in a separate building, requiring luggage to be carried up one floor. On the bright side, the rooms were well-equipped with amenities like shampoo, conditioner, lotion, toothbrush, and hair gel, making for a comfortable stay. The location was strategic for accessing popular spots like Dongmun market, Blackpork street, and the Jejang underground mall, but would be better for sleeping on the other side of the island unless there's a festival in Jeju. The dining at Bernese Fries was a highlight, offering a satisfying experience. Overall, the facilities were satisfactory, providing good value for the money spent.
